I am a licensed clinical social worker providing psychotherapy in private practice in Cazenovia, NY. Since my graduation from the University of Michigan School of Social Work, I have been in practice for 32 years. I am a long-time meditator and meditation instructor, having taught Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction for 13 years. The MBSR course I teach is entitled “Mindful Living and Stress Reduction” taught through Crouse Hospital’s Integrative Medicine Department, and is based on the model developed by renowned teacher and author, Jon Kabat-Zinn. I have taught at Syracuse University in the David B. Falk School of Sport and Human Dynamics. I have offered Mindful Eating workshops with fellow psychotherapist , Nicole Christina, LCSW. My other interests include mindfulness and creativity, and I am a certified SoulCollage® facilitator. I am a certified Kripalu yoga instructor and have taught yoga at Cazenovia College and other settings. I consider myself an enthusiastic life long learner. I am active in outdoor recreation and a dog lover.
